Description
- Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ high capacity cartridges contain a 6% agarose coupled with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin™XT and are applicable for purification of Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins with HPLC/FPLC devices like Äkta systems (Cytiva).
- They enable the addition of denaturing agents such as urea during the purification procedure.
- In comparison to Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ high capacity has a higher density of immobilized Strep-Tactin™XT, which leads to a 3- to 5-fold higher yield of purified protein.
- As with any other Strep-Tactin™XT resins, the unspecific protein binding is extremely low, which results in an outstanding purity of the target protein.
